Puffball has allowed me #onhere once again
Anyway, I've re-implemented backlinks, changed the page headers to display the relative done-ness of the post you're looking at, and copyright text has now been replaced with a creative commons license. https://apisashla.com/
petty
although I'm aware this is very "what were YOU doing at the devil's sacrament" energy

also want to clarify this is not directed at anyone. begposting is fine and good and I am not mad at anyone for doing it, the change in terminology just annoys me because I want people to actually do mutual aid when they can, instead of stretching themselves paper thin for strangers and burning through their resources and energy
politics
basically if you don't actually know, or know someone who knows, the person you're giving money to and you don't expect that to change, it's probably not mutual aid. which is fine, but 1. you probably shouldn't call it mutual aid 2. you cannot personally meet all the needs of every stranger on the internet with a gofundme 3. it is extremely easy and common to abuse the language of social justice to scam strangers who are sensitive to guilt trips, so be mindful
politics
mutual aid differs from charity in that you *do* expect something in return (and specifically from that person, not in some extremely broad "what goes around comes around" sense) but it differs from other types of exchange in that what you expect back is nonspecific and flexible, and that it based on actual shared trust developed through experience rather than the minimal trust needed for barter or purchase
politics
still kind of annoyed at the defanging of the term "mutual aid" to mean giving someone help and not expecting anything in return. that is a good thing to do (and when possible you should give directly to people in need instead of via a nonprofit) but it is also the exact opposite of what mutual aid is.
